Styling for video
On video, food does not get a second chance. A sauce that runs, cheese that sets too fast or a hand that comes in a beat too late: the camera sees everything. Our stylists think in motion. They prepare dishes in stages, so every take looks fresh, from the first cut to the last bite.
We work with the director and the camera crew and plan the styling around the rhythm of the shot list. For slow motion and close-ups we make several identical versions of the same dish, so we can repeat until it is perfect. Your product stays at its best in every frame, whether it is a TV spot or a social video.

How is styling for video different from styling for photo?
For photo we style for one perfect moment. On video the dish has to keep looking good while it moves, gets cut or eaten. That takes more preparation and several identical versions.

Can photo and video happen on the same day?
Yes. Many brands combine both in one shoot day. Our stylists prepare everything so the photographer and the video crew can work with the same dish.

Do you also work on stop motion?
Yes, for example with artist Frederic Tilleman. He brings the movement, we take care of the light and the styling.
