Stop motion

In stop motion, food comes to life frame by frame. Ingredients that arrange themselves on a plate, a lunchbox that fills itself, a burger that falls into place piece by piece. Playful, surprising and instantly recognisable.

For this we team up with stop-motion artist Frederic Tilleman. He brings the movement, we take care of the light and the styling, with real products and real ingredients. The result is a short video that stands out in every feed and puts your product in the spotlight in a playful way.

Questions about stop motion

  • How does stop motion work?

We photograph a scene many times in a row, each time with a small change. Played back one after another, it looks as if everything moves by itself. A few seconds of stop motion easily consists of dozens or hundreds of frames.

  • How long does it take to make a stop motion?

Longer than a regular video, because every movement is built by hand. A short stop motion of a few seconds often takes a full studio day. In the briefing we make a realistic schedule.

  • Do you use real food in stop motion?

Yes. We work with real products and ingredients. Our stylists make sure everything looks fresh and good throughout the whole shoot.

  • What is stop motion best used for?

Stop motion works well on social media, in online ads and as a short intro or animation on your website. It stands out among regular videos and makes even a simple product playful and memorable.

  • Can you combine stop motion with regular video?

Absolutely. A short stop-motion sequence works well as an opener or transition in a longer video or commercial. We plan both so they flow seamlessly into each other.
