Helping start-ups get their first great images

Not every brand walks in with a big budget or years of visual history. Some are just getting started, with a good product and not much else. This is where we like to work too. We help start-ups get imagery that actually looks like a real brand from day one, so they can grow, and we grow with them.

Foodbag: a case in point

Foodbag is a good example of how that works in practice. What started from shooting 3 test dishes has grown into a steady, ongoing partnership of 3 shootings a week. Consistent throughout the year. That's the model: a brand doesn't need to already be big for us to take it seriously.

Room to experiment

Start-ups tend to be more open to ideas than bigger, more established brands. That means more room for creativity: surreal concepts, bold colours, playful setups, whatever fits the brand's personality. It's some of the most fun work we do, precisely because there's less to be precious about and more room to try something new.

Why it works

Start-ups need images that punch above their size, without the budget of an established brand. We treat that as a creative challenge, not a limitation, and it's led to some of our favourite work.
