FOODBAG
We shot their food when they had sold their first hundred boxes.

The problem
Foodbag publishes a new menu every week. Every dish on it needs an image before it goes live.
That is not a campaign with an end date. It is a deadline that arrives again seven days later, and has done for ten years. On top of the menu there is new brand content every week, and a bigger occasion shoot every quarter.
Recipes also change late. An ingredient becomes unavailable after the shoot, the dish on the site no longer matches what is in the box, and the usual fix is to shoot the whole thing again.
What we did
We started when Foodbag had sold their first hundred boxes. They grew, the volume grew with them, and the way we work together grew too.
Three shoot days a week now, on a fixed rhythm. Dedicated teams on both sides who know each other, working off shared drives and a DAM system, so nobody is hunting for a file on the day a menu goes live.
When an ingredient changes at the last minute, we adapt the existing image with AI instead of reshooting it. The dish stays the same dish, the ingredient is replaced, and the picture matches the box again.
The quarterly occasion shoots run as full productions alongside the weekly cadence.
The result
Ten years of weekly menus. Three shoot days a week, still running.
We started as their photographer and became friends. Ten years on we still push each other for a better result, and the work now helps shape what a Foodbag customer expects their dinner to taste like.
Every picture has one job. Make someone hungry. That is what sells a box.
